Improv in the Dark

A boundary-pushing performance by disabled improvisers.

About the Show

A cast of disabled improvisers performs an entirely improvised show in low light, using sound and voice instead of physical movement to set the scene. Think old-school radio drama, but live. Most improv relies on visual gags and blocking, so blind and low-vision audience members usually much of the context of jokes. This show was built so they don't. This isn't a gimmick. It's a celebration of disabled artists reclaiming space and exploring their own creative possibilities.
